What is NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming. The name comes from three different areas:

N - Neurology This refers to our minds and how we think about things
L - Linguistics This refers to the study of language, how we use it, how it affects our lives, and what kinds of insights can be gained by paying attention to the way people use language
P - Programming This refers, not to the activity of programming in and of itself, but to the study of the thinking and behavioral patterns or sequences we use to achieve our goals

Or, in a nutshell, NLP is the influence of language on our minds and our behavior. Since hypnosis is all about behavior modification, combining NLP techniques with hypnosis makes them both more effective.

How NLP Can Help You...

Together, you and I will complete what is called an "outcome frame." We will examine how you think about your beliefs and values and how you create specific emotional states from your experiences, and how you give them meaning. No two people give the same meaning to the same experience. NLP studies your experiences from the inside out. With the use of hypnosis, you can then alter the meanings you give to various experiences to reflect the direction you want your life to go.

If you are ready to examine the meanings you give to your experiences, and modify those meanings if you so desire, call me, Debbie Taylor-Lilly, at 503.312.4660. Or send me an email : . I can help!
